Things To Consider When Planning A Wedding Video

All weddings are as unique as the bride and groom themselves! Guest numbers can range from only a few close family members to hundreds of friends. They can be held indoor or outdoor, with ceremony and reception happening in different locations, or all in one intimate venue. The logistics can be mind boggling for a bride and groom to sift through.

Here are some things to consider when planning for your wedding video... Do you want to just capture the ceremony for archival purposes, or the whole day including the pre-wedding festivities? How about the rehersal dinner? Would you like to show a slideshow of the two of you growing up and then together as a couple at your rehersal dinner or wedding reception? What about doing a mini documentary style piece - A Love Story? And with Steamboat being such a large destination wedding getaway, do you want to capture any special activities that you have planned for guests that are flying in to share your special day....either on video or even just a photo montage of pictures you took while they were here? Do you want your guests interviewed to offer you best wishes or not? And finally, wouldn't it be nice to have a short version of your special day's highlights that you can show off to friends and family!

Your wedding day is shot in HD using 2-3 cameras with 1-2 videographers. The audio is recorded with a wireless lavalier mic that can be worn on the lapel of the groom's or officiant's jacket or hidden on the alter. A shotgun mic is used as a backup. A small video light can be used to capture evening reception activities or no light at all, its your choice. Your wedding video will be delivered to you on DVD with custom menus and titles. You can request package pricing or work A la carte. Its really up to you! That's why I'd like to invite you to call or email me for a special pricing quote on what your unique wedding video might cost. I look forward to creating a lifetime keepsake for you!
